Although NHIC has a rich history spanning more than eight decades of ministry in Sunnyvale and the south bay region, we have an exciting vision propelling us into the future. Our Community:

Our desire is to be a community that is a place to discover God's goodness, beauty, and truth.

We long to be a diverse community where people from every culture and subculture feel welcome.

We seek to be a place where relevance, faith, and the power of God meet to transform lives. We seek to be a people filled with faith, hope and love- to live lives after the pattern of Jesus Christ - preferring others above ourselves.

We are a community in process, discovering what it means to be the people of God, living together, celebrating together, working together, mourning together, and growing together.

We believe this starts, as radical as it may seem, by having a divine encounter with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the full revelation of God, and is the way, the truth, and the life. His resurrection from the dead demonstrated that his message was true, and that He has done all that is necessary to attain our salvation. By following His teachings and by being empowered and transformed by the Holy Spirit, the goodness, beauty, and truth of heaven begins to flood our lives and communities.
