A native of Havana, Cuba, Pastor Jorge F. Marsal immigrated to the US in 1962. He has served for the past 30 years in several Churches as Associate Pastor with emphasis on music and arts ministries in addition to other Pastoral duties.
Rev. Marsal is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and Ordained with the International Ministerial Fellowship. He has earned a Master of Ministry Degree from the Phoenix University of Theology and is currently in pursuit of his Doctor of Theology Degree.
Pastor Marsal studied music at the University of Miami, and Berklee School of Music, before turning professional and eventually joining the contemporary gospel group, Amplified Version, where he met his bride to be of 32 years and anointed singer, Shirley. Their son, Nico, is a college student who hosts his own weekly ‘sports talk’ radio program on the LasPositas College station.
A true heart for equipping the saints through God’s Word and leading people into an encounter with his Lord, Jesus Christ, is the calling of his ministry.
Jorge enjoys playing golf and watching sports, and of course, studying God’s Word. An occasional “Cuban” flan is also in his repertoire.
